Happy 40th Decorate a Friend's Yard

More pics to follow, but all my inspiration for SF K -  circled around this jar, from Brown Paper Packages. {I wish I had my Silhouette already for some vinyl, but a girl can just keep wanting I guess}, I loved how it turned out. I actually scraped out the cream out of the oreos because on one of those warm SoCal days yesterday it was making a sticky mess.
It's a simple craft, Mason jar, some ribbon and a tag!

Imagine opening your front door and seeing this jar on your doorstep... you would just have had to {{giggle}} a little despite that fact you are about to enter a new decade! and I just hope I look as good, trim and fit, as SF K when I turn 40! A girl can still {dream} right?

SF K, hope your birthday celebrations are special this year :-)

Tags for an Easter Craft

I realized a couple years ago that anything I do for an event looks much better and more complete if I make tags for it.  So, whenever I'm helping with a party or event, I offer to do the tags.  BFF S did the craft at the Egg Hunt here in Coto so I made tags for all the different supplies (we also spent a number of hours cutting all the plate pieces, UGH! talk about sore hands).  This is a very affordable craft to do for a large group, just a lot of elbow grease!

Bunny Brownies - Easter Treats

I ran around like last minute nelly buying my supplies yesterday since my original craft using liquid starch and balloons didn't pan out... . Wow, lots of assembling for this one, but pretty cute! Thank you to No Fuss Fabulous for sharing this idea. It's been done in Mason Jars, but my friend Taryn with Dipped Darlings had these awesome To Go containers that worked out great to use and label....
I can't wait for someone to save me a piece of the brownies to try out!

Here's what's in them:
1 Sleeve Graham Crackers
8 Peeps
1 cup of M&M's
1/3 cup of Brown Sugar

Teacher Appreciation Week - You were MINT to Teach

A very simple one again! Get a tin of Altoids, then wrap a piece of scrapbook paper (3" x 6"), adhere with double sided tape and the topper with the saying and then wrap the whole thing with some twine.
Super inexpensive and very cute! Who couldn't use another box of mints!

Teacher Appreciation Week - Thanks a Latte

I found this cute idea over at Eighteen25. Love this concept and it was the cutest thing put together. I didn't have a coffee sleeve and was too tired to go to Starbucks, so I used a card board box flap that I pealed off the first layer of. I also used twine to tie around the whole thing! This can be used for any thank you gift... not just for teachers!

Easter Treats for School

I saw some inspiration on a blog somewhere for these... so can't remember which blog {sorry}, but Loved the idea, salty instead of sweet and well, brought it up to BFF S and she ran with it... She got the Cone Treat Bags, the Cheese Puffs and the Pipe Cleaners... and I was able to make tags to complete the project.  I punched out the tags with a 2" Scalloped Circle punch, one of my all time favs! Then I chalked around with a Burnt Red Sienna cats eye... I just love how they turned out! We made this into a Mommy and Me project early this am with Isabella, she helped curl the pipe cleaner and did all the counting... {did I just homeschool?} Of course, she wanted to be in the pic, ok, even though your in your jammies! Fun times with Bella, a cute treat bag and my creative outlet early this am!! FUN FUN! Oh, and these pics are not retouched, the orange is really electric looking, wow huh?

Mad Hatter Unbirthday

My BFF S was super busy around her mom's birthday and she didn't get to celebrate her special day with her. So instead of setting up a lunch or dinner date, she took everything to the 9th degree and thought of this great birthday theme based on the Alice in Wonderland scene.  She played the movie and the ever so famous A Very Merry Unbirthday song.  I hope you enjoy the pictures and get some inspiration for your own party.  Thanks BFF S for letting me help you with this party!

Kamden's 5th Barbie Birthday Party

I had so much fun doing this awesome party for my dear friend Sue's Daughter who lost her battle with cancer this past January. She really would have been proud of what her friends and I were able to accomplish.
